The Sandals Foundation Story

The Sandals Foundation partnered with us for the first time in 2015 with our Primary School tennis program. Because of this partnership and the Foundation’s commitment to the children, the program grew comfortably and continued to receive support in many forms.

We could not have anticipated how things would evolve in 2016 with the Sandals Foundation adopting the Kids InFLOW® Development Series, which is an addition of a basketball program. But there was yet another surprise that year which left us as program organizers, the community of Castries and most importantly the children, with the complete resurfacing of the Kenneth ‘Wriggler’ King Complex Courts. The cost associated with this were and continue to be monumental. It literally changed the face of the city.

The Kids InFLOW® Development Series continues today in large part due to the partnership of the Sandals Foundation which has allowed for the introduction of the sport of tennis to over 1000 children and spawned its own league under the “Welcome to the jungle” theme.

In 2017 we saw 500 children participating in the program with some schools sending entirely new groups in a bid to broaden the exposure.
